bulletSeasonal Wine Dinners

As each new season arrives, we organize special wine dinners that focus on local produce and seasonal Italian culinary traditions. These dinners involve a five-course meal designed by Chef Baldacci to pair with five different wines from a particular producer or region.

Our next wine dinner will be taking place on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7pm, featuring the wines of
Fratelli Cigliuti from Piemonte and a five course spring dinner. The wine maker, Claudia Cigluiti, will be in attendance!

Renato Cigliuti's family has been farming vineyards and producing wines in Barbaresco since 1790. However, it wasn't until 1964 that they began bottling and selling their own wines, just 600 cases of Barbaresco. Renato was one of the first in the area to do so, together with Giacosa and a few other estates. Today, Renato steers the course for Cigliuti but is assisted in the cellar by his wife, Dina, and daughters, Claudia and Silvia. We are excited to introduce you to Claudia Cigliuti, who will be in attendance and will be happily answering any questions you might have.

The winery is located at the top of Serraboella, an official Barbaresco subzone and the most important vineyard in the eastern part of Neive. The Cigliuti family tends to the vineyards themselves, by hand, and in a way which respects the environment. Yields are kept low in order to harvest the finest fruit. For decades, Renato Cigliuti has been crafting world-acclaimed wines, and his name has become synonymous with Barbaresco from the now famous Serraboella.

Chef Baldacci has crafted a five course menu full of fresh spring produce to pair with these five outstanding wines.
